The business of music

I've been a product of the music industry, as an artist, since 2004. I've have seen its glamour and been haunted by its ugly face. I definitely feel the journey was worth the pain, but also feel like it would be a waste if i didn't share what i've learned. Unfortunately this industry is saturated with the ideal that the artist comes second. That is why i strongly suggest.... doing everything you can, "in house". From your design work, to promotion and even production. The production side is where i come in. I have wasted way too much money on over-priced production that netted no tangible gain.  The purpose of my blog is to encourage and help the artist.  There is so much more to come on this subject....... stay tuned!
